Operations Management

Environmental Process Solutions, PLLC offers the highest degree of expertise in the area of management concerned with overseeing, designing, and controlling your environmental processes. This involves the responsibility of ensuring that your industrial operations are efficient in terms of using as few resources as needed, and effective in terms of meeting environmental guidelines and requirements.

Environmental Compliance

The EPS team can audit your environmental responsibilities and determine what regulations you are subject to. We ensure that you have processes and procedures in place to operate within all permitted requirements. In the event that deficiencies are found, we will assist you with correcting them, whether it means developing new processes and procedures, or applying for new/updated permits.

We can help develop and update your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), or your Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan. We can also assist with integration of your contingency plan documents into a ‘One plan’, or Integrated Contingency Plan (ICP).

Contract Operations for Industrial Wastewater

Clients who turn to EPS for contract operations of wastewater facilities benefit from the added value we bring when compared with other firms because of our solid engineering skills – from facilities planning and troubleshooting through design, construction, startup and operator training.

When you are short staffed and need temporary manpower to keep your facility running, we have certified operators, who can quickly learn your specific site procedures and assist in running your facility.

Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) Services

Our North Carolina Physical Chemical Grade 2 Certified Operator is available on a daily, weekly, long term or short term basis depending on the classification of your facility. We can ensure that permit requirements are met during a temporary transition between Certified Operators, or we can serve as a Back-Up Operator in order for your Operator in Responsible Charge to take time off.

We serve the following North Carolina counties: Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Davidson, Davie, Forsythe, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanley and Union County.

Wastewater Process Optimization

EPS has a North Carolina Registered Professional Engineer to evaluate your treatment processes and to help improve your permit compliance while reducing operating costs. We can evaluate your existing performance and aid in developing improved procedures to ensure that data is collected, monitored, and used to make good decisions about the treatment processes.

When facility staff is challenged by inefficient operations or compliance issues, EPS’s mix of engineering, science, and operations brings a 360 degree view of problems and solutions. We evaluate operations from performance and infrastructure conditions, to staff skill levels and energy management. Then we identify how to maintain compliance and get the most out of a client’s facility by optimizing existing assets before considering costly capital investments.

Wastewater System Startup

EPS performs start-up on newly installed systems to ensure that it meets permit compliance and we perform the initial tuning of the operations. When a new treatment process is installed, care needs to be given to ensure that all permit parameters are kept within compliance during the start-up and testing process.

We specialize in operation of treatment equipment and can aid in the design and install firm with contract based start-up services utilizing certified operators to ensure proper compliance is maintained.

Our experience and expertise includes consulting, permitting, sampling and reporting of industrial storm water management systems.

EPS can assist you with attaining and maintaining storm water no exposure exclusion (certification). We provide sampling and reporting management for General Stormwater Permits as well as for Individual Stormwater Permits in North Carolina.
